I have a young daughter of 4 who I have shared custody with her dad when she’s is with me it’s only me taking care of her. She very often has a cough like most of the time and every time I hear her cough I’m am filled with anxiety specially in the evenings. I really am struggling to cope with this feeling

Struggling with my anxiety
Phone your GPs Surgery and seek advice for the cough, they will hopefully make an appointment with your Doctor to make shure you have nothing to worry about. A cough can be many different things, you need to put your mind at rest
BOB
As Bob suggests maybe it would be a good idea to get the cough checked out with your GP. There are soooo many reasons why children cough. My youngest had a recurring cough , my mind went into overdrive when I was in bed listening to her cough, I didn’t sleep well as I was constantly listening out for her, I was thinking the worst and scared her cough would get worse in the night when there was no one else around to help.I did phone my GP and answered a few questions like ‘was the cough worse at night? Was it a dry sounding cough? …. We then saw the GP and I was told she’s asthmatic, got good info from the GP and it’s controlled now and we both sleep better at night now .
Having an answer to your worry might make you feel better.
