I am saying card stolen and getting it replaced tomorrow
Hi Hidden, this is a scam that crops up every Christmas, its not dpd whenever you get any message from a courier or any other company, always check the spelling ! The other thing with these scammers is they do try to make the email look like dpd's own layout, the best thing to do is go to your browser and look up dpd or put dpd's full details in your search bar including the https dpd.co.uk you should have the site come up with a small padlock on the address bar. The scam email please forward to "Action Fraud " and they can get so much information from the email that you or I can not see . And Remember Your Bank will never ask for your details in an email! Banks do NOT ask for card numbers or security code nor pin number or Internet banking passwords nor will they call you asking for them ! A major scam is calling someone and saying to them hang up and call the number on the back of your card, they Don't hang up and you will think you have got through to your bank! You haven't. Use another phone to call your bank ie a mobile if they call you on your landline, or your landline if they called your mobile! Or just hang up and enjoy Christmas!
Why would a delivery company want your private details. I would suggest you report then to the police. They deliver parcels all they need to know is your name and address, nothing more
