Has anyone tried a natural approach for dealing with anxiety/ approach. I’m trying so hard to stay away from medications but some days I feel like it may be the only answer

I tried acupuncture which didn’t help at all. Maybe tablets may help you a little and some therapy if you can get it

Have you tried Mindfulness Relaxation Technique, or Deep Breathing Exercises You can find a book on Mindfulness on Amazon.Have you been seen and had Talking Therapy Has your doctor suggested medication, or have you talked to your Doctor regards how you feel ??

I’ve tried self help books , therapy they suggest medication but I’ve been trying to be on a more natural path making life style changes with my diet doing yoga so that hopefully I don’t have to resort to medication

It is all down to you and the way you see and feel this disability. Talking out your problems with people you trust will help you come to any problems you had in the past. I listen to music that is easy on my ears and nerves and that does help I am a member of a musical fan club and they show a twenty mins show every four weeks with additional programs etc and that does help me to relax. We are all different as our tastes in music so that is something else you could try

I know how you feel, having had to withdraw from medication because of side-effects.Make sure you are getting all the B vitamins.

Don't listen to the news or watch anything that is not positive.

Being in nature helps.

Some exercise daily.

Avoid the worry habit - either take some action or switch off until there's more clarity before deciding what to do.

Try reading some inspiring books that give some hope.

I'm also looking into nootropics for anxiety. Lots of info on internet.

Hello friend, you are not alone in feeling anxiety. Some of the things that I do are:

1) indoor exercise (works most of the time)

2) watching comedy content

3) sleeping (works if the anxiety is not too severe)

4) eating chocolate (this should be done in moderation though)

There are other natural methods as well but these are the ones I have tried. Hope these work for you.

I suffer from anxiety and depression. My dog helps me enormously and sometimes makes me laugh (it’s very rare for me to laugh). Have you considered having a pet? Dogs are hard work as my dog for example needs a walk three times a day but maybe a cat or even a lizard?

Having a dog doesn’t take away my anxiety 100% but it does help and any help is good. It would be good to know how you get on and any other solution you find to help with anxiety as I am open to try things that help others people with similar struggle.
