We usually take cooked food in lots of bags - to protect - in a taxi to supported living of autistic non verbal son. But we are refusing him visits because taxi / talked to and they usually take patients, hospital workers, doctors to the hospital - This makes us more frightened and we usually manage to deliver the food but no visits as afraid of spreading covid to son. We need tests. How to calm down when area very at risk - cases have gone up

i was given a covid test several weeks ago, they sent it through the post and withing a couple of days they came and picked it up so the Lab could do a test on it. Consisted of a mouth and nose swab got the result back in four or five days, personally it seemed to take to long.
Could you phone your Doctor and ask for a test, or are there any testing centres in your area. Your Surgery may be able to send out a nurse for the test taking or arrange an appointment for you. However I understood the surgery was only doing winter jabs and various types of injections to prevent serious problems
We are going back into Lock Down now it seems to be to much worry going out at the moment
