Voice waking me up

I have this voice inside my head it sometimes takes over.was on the phone to the benefit office he took over he was very rude to the lady it was like I was a third person listening in.i have trouble with sleeping due to my tinnitus even the meds I take do not work sometimes and I go nights with out any sleep.but now when I do go to sleep the voice in my head has now been waking me up about 2.30 he’s saying get up it’s time to get up I tell him it’s not time to get up but then I’m awake and can’t get back to sleep.my gp has referred me to someone can’t remember the name am waiting for a phone call.im scared to talk to people as am afraid that he will take over.

All I can suggest is you wait to get your appointment as there are ways to help you suppressing the voice.

Have you tried background noise through ear plugs that can in some ways control and suppress the voices, it does not need to be loud just playing in the background
