Antidepressants can have certain immediate effects sometimes; however, what they do after the first dose or two isn't that important as what matters is what kind of stable effect you can get from them.
My own experience, is that you know what an antidepressant is doing after two or three weeks. But some sources will say things like 12 weeks sometimes for full effect to become clear; so it may be worth being patient.
When they increase the dose it can take a couple of weeks, hopefully you will feel some benefit soon, Although be patient, give the medication a further two weeks (Four Weeks) in all
