Options to combat anxiety and low level depression

I am new here but wanted to gather people's views of ways to help my ever increasing anxiety. I have a lot of stress in my life at the moment; I also work full time and have a toddler. I can't be bothered to message or socialise with friends and spend all of my time with my toddler and partner, which really cheers me up but others don't seem to understand this. I now find myself shutting myself away from my family too. I have tried counselling but it didn't help. What else can I try to make myself feel calmer and get through the next few stressful months?

Welcome to our supportive community. Well done for taking a brave step out of your comfort zone to reach out for help. You are obviously having a difficult time right now, I suggest and ask for help from your medical professionals as there's a whole range of therapies that can help you, such as other forms of talking therapies, mindfulness, medications etc. You may find this information helpful too, Mind UK - Stress treatments: mind.org.uk/information-sup...
