Homesick?

Soo heres my story i have a 4 month old and my mood has been rocky ever since ill be happy one minute and then depressed another. I figured it was the baby blues and would go away some reason i couldnt tell the doctor how i was rly feeling. Just recently i moved away from my home state and lately ive been feeling like i don't want to be here anymore i just started a new job with great co workers but i still find my self dealing with this feeling. I live with my mom till we get back on our feet ( me and my husband). I go on walks alot i try to twice a day if it dosnt rain. It willblife my mood for a breif second but if i walk alone My thoughts bounce everywhere and makes things worse. Not sure what to do. Im on the process of getting insurence so i could see a doctor of whatever.

Hello Speak_softly,

Welcome to our supportive community. Well done for taking a brave step out of your comfort zone to reach out for help. You are obviously having a difficult time right now but hopefully, you will find folks here are only too willing to come alongside you and share from their personal journeys and experiences. It does sound like you are potentially experiencing post-natal depression, and it would be a good idea to speak to your doctor about how you are feeling. Your feelings of homesickness are probably being exacerbated by your fluctuating hormone levels at the moment. Check the links below for more information:

<3 I think you are dealing with many changes in the past few months and trying to adapt. You are taking the right steps by trying to take care of your self. It will get easier in time. Have a little belief and hang in there. Did you have a boy or girl!? So exciting!
