Feeling really bad today. Not sleeping well and stomach Is painful with knots. Endless negative thoughts. Two weeks on fluoxetine. Wondering if I should ask doctor for sick note

Hey yes if you need to get sick note. I get that same horrible anxiety in my stomach. I can’t eat or anything. Just make sure you give the medicine at least a month to work. Good luck!!

Hi Orangey555,

It is early days with your medication and there are common undesirable effects including gastrointestinal e.g. nausea, dyspepsia etc. Speak to your GP about this and see what he/she suggests. They should be monitoring you closely when you start a new antidepressant. Hope this helps.
