In just the same boat, have been asked to wait 18 weeks to see a psychiatrist for 6 sessions, that was 26 weeks ago . . . .

I feel like saying to them, no no, take your time, this is ruining every element of my daily life, no rush!

Hi Chris I’m in the some boat...I suffer from severe anxiety ,panic attack and depression..I tried almost every medication going with no help ..eventually my GP refer me to see a psychiatrist to get a proper diagnosis and hopefully get the Wright medication to help me ..ha ha is been nearly 3 months and only just received a letter from Than to tell me I have an appointment wit the psychiatric nurse in middle of August..but if my simptoms gets worse to call this help line number on the letter..I did get worse so i called ...I explain how I was feeling to this lady ..she Than told me she going to have a word with someone and she will call me back in a few hours !, ha ha again...is been over one week and she never called me back ..unfortunately no one takes mental health serious..only the ones who goes through it ,can understand how horrible it is ..😢 good luck and hope you get you appointment sorted out soon

Hope that it all gets sorted for you soon, I’m still waiting for my Think Action appointment, not holding out much hope. Going back to the docs in 2 weeks time to discuss other options, hopefully find something that works.
