I am new to the group. In the early hours of Monday morning I thought I was having a heart attack. It was actually a panic attack that lasted an hour and a half. I rang an ambulance as I have never experienced something like this before and I was so scared. I have been suffering with anxiety and depression for a few months now but haven’t seen anyone about it however it is beginning f to get to the stage where if I don’t see someone it’s going to get bad.
I am now waiting to see a councillor so I can sit and talk to someone about my problems and try and get some help. However the waiting time is 4 weeks at the moment.
Has anyone got any tips on how to deal with panic attacks like this?
Thank you x
