Natural sleep aid

Hey everyone 👋 On the topic of sleep aids... I have one that contains valerian root and hops....if I tend to wake up say at 1am or 3am, could I take a tablet? Or is that too late? I'm wondering if it's equivalent to just drinking tea.

Valerian is herbal and it tends to calm mild anxiety,/taken another tablet would do no harm .why did you ask in the first place,just wondered ...

Hi there. Thanks for replying. I'm aware of what valerian and hops can do. I tend to wake up around 2 then struggle to get back to sleep. So I wondered if taking the valerian/hops tablet at 2am would be a good idea as it's really late in the night and I wasn't sure if it should be avoided taking that late. I know it's herbal but wondered if like melatonin (circadian prescription) it should be taken only at certain times. Or if I take the herbal tablet is it harmless and equivalent to just getting up at 2am and drinking a tea, considering it's herbal. I asked because I was curious and needed clarification if it's ok to pop and herbal sleep aid at 2am!

I would give it a try,though you might find it happens everynight,perhaps you could try without and if you slept then wakened you could try it then;have you always had sleeping problems,i have been thinking of buying some for the same reason though im able to sleep without any aids (usually )lets know how it goes ,thanks for your reply.!
