Holidays, Get away from it all

We eventually arrived back home Saturday it was a long drive although very productive and we saw and learned a great deal, regarding our three core interests. History, Geography and Gardening.

The wild flowers down south are so much sooner down south the Primroses, Daffs and even Bluebells were all out and in the gardens the Magnolia and Camelias were out in full colour. When we got back the gardens were not that advanced on our return so now we have our second Spring.

We all need to get away from all, including all of life problems , the problem is after so long four weeks or so on return life jibs are waiting on the door mat in spades so in many ways we have to understand life problems will always wait for our return in spades Holidays are that, were put back our problems and if we return on a weekend we have two days where we sit and read our posts, letters and emails and we cannot do anything until Monday raises its head. As long as we understand that life will be fine even when life will always throw a wobler. Sometimes even negative experiences await.

Life is like that, we may always have to deal with our problems, even if we leave life behind for a time, it will always be there waiting no matter what you or say. We need to live with it and get on with life

I watch Gardener's World, the Great British Revival and the Edible Garden but since builders are working in our house, we can't go into the Garden. I have been to Kew Gardens, though - enjoyed so much

Yes on our return all of our daffodils are out and my Pear trees, plums and quinces are flowering. The apples have not started yet.

Down south in Wales they are going to run out of colour because even the bluebells were flowering down there. The flowers in the woods were really cover, We have it all to look forward to here.

It cannot be bad having two Springs in one year I suppose
