Jumping to conclusions

I literally feel like such a psycho bc I jump to conclusions right away and idk how to stop it. But when I ask a friend about their opinion or to find out the truth, I always end up being wrong and they tell me not to worry so much. I can’t help it and it sucks so much.. this app helps a lot bc when I don’t feel like talking to anyone I come here.. idk if to stick to this and/or go to therapy .. ughh but yeah I always jump to conclusions and it’s such a bad habit..

Many people when discussing various things can interrupt the flow of the person. People then get upset and you fail to get the full story ?

Try counting five or ten in your head before responding that may help you. You just need to let people spit it out before jumping.

I used to do something similar when a great deal younger now as I get older I am now more slow in my uptake, if at all.
