Insomnia Is Kicking my Butt!!

Hi all, relatively new here...It's 3:47 a.m. Work Swing Shift 10 hour days get off at 12:30 a.m. and still awake!! I'll get really sleepy then when I get into bed I'm wide awake!! Sucks!!!:-(

I know the subject is taboo, however have you thought of taking CBD. Before I started I could stay up 3 days straight without rest.

I use to be very angry and relentlessly upset because my brain couldn't function properly. I have 2 sprays and I sleep great. I do not wake up groggy and I can still hear when my kids wake through the night.

You could also try Mindfulness Relaxation Technique, just as you go to bed. Try not eating to late, if you wish to sleep, food on the tummy will keep you awake.

Some people on various shifts have one technique where they live the day as their shift dictates. However your hours of work finish at 12;30am

The time it would seem is not the problem you are living your day trying to follow normal work hours. What time of day do you start work ?

Hi, my hours of work are 2p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Mon-Thurs / Fri -Sun Off..

You seem to be following your day if you go in at 2pm, the problem you have is the 00;30 finish, you could try sleeping till late morning and following your day a little later for your meals. However yes you finish late your day follows a certain way that when people generally get up at say 08;00am and return home at 16;00 for dinner. So you may be able to change your day times. Breakfast at say 09;00, Lunch @ 13;00 and your evening meal at say 20;00 or the time you take your evening meal
