Morning everyone ,

Its been over a year i think since i posted anything.

I've come across something PDD and i think all the symptoms are literally me.

My daughters dad & I haven been separated since my daughter was around 9 months old maybe younger.

He suffers from Bi polar which if I honest i don't fully understand , its took him 4 years to be diagnosed and over 2 to get the correct medication.

As I am not fully mentally strong i really struggle with him and how he acts , hes very sly will throw digs and always have something to say.

I've raised our daughter from such a small age he was AWOL for some years , now hes met someone and seems to be much more balanced however with me its always the same.

I usually provide the dates weekends for him to have our daughter , i drop her off and collect her , which has been fine for over 8 months now.

Yesterday he told me the dates i sent 'didnt work for him' - and some dates i had arranged for a family member to have my daughter whilst school was closed cant be done - ( I had arranged these with his family member )

This was him being difficult ans it sent me in a frenzy i was crying sobbing and just in a panic over it ,i just feel all over the place at the minute and be glad of any advice.

Thanks

Hello DiamondHeart

Thank you for your post. I am so sorry that you feel this way. You are coping with such a lot.

It may be worth talking with your doctor and mention PDD so they can assess for this.

Have you got any family or friends you can talk with?

Our members are very supportive so may be able to offer you more help. Perhaps you could tell us more about how you are feeling and your situation?

The charity MIND at mind.org also have a helpline.

0300 123 3393.
