I went to my GP today. I was immediately prescribed antidepressants, beta blockers for anxiety, and had a therapy appointment scheduled. While I feel apprehensive about beginning this journey, I finally feel as though my depression may stop telling me that I am a failure and my life is worthless. Thanks, anyone who might read this, or maybe just the void, for hearing that I might be on the way to feeling I deserve a life.
