Yesterday I bought a puppy. Since my last post I decided that it might be a good idea to have some responsibility and something to call mine. I’ve had no anxiety and haven’t felt depressed since, I honestly think she might save my life.
Here is a photo if you want to see her.

I owne a long haired dachshund same coloring. His name was William. They are the best dogs🐾. Great personalities.
Caring and loving a pet gives you purpose. In return you get unconditional love and support from them. I always called William my unofficial therapy dog.
When I was anxious he was right there beside me.
You and Rolo will have many years of friendship. This will be good for boosting your spirits. I totally believe in the power of an animals love.

Hi, I am 75 and was actually thinking of getting a sausage dog as we call them. I also thought a dog may help my anxiety but it’s a big step to take and needs a lot of thought. X
Hello, yeah she’s doing alright, keeping me busy and occupied at the moment! Didn’t think I’d like daschunds but they are really funny. x

Amazing. Since I have been affected by my mental health I have had a real fascination with dogs. I hadn’t realised how great they are. They’re so loving and rewarding and they take your mind off of you!
Hi Steven, you made a great decision to bring a fur baby into your life. I have had my fur baby for 8 months now and I can say she is my best friend and has help me significantly. The time I would spend self loathing and swirling in depressive thoughts is now replaced with play time with me pup. She distracts my thoughts and replaces it was giggles and pleasantry. She gets me out the house on walks. I’m forced to interact with others because most folks like dogs and want to interact with her. It’s hard for me to socialize but She loves me and I love her. And it helps. It helps...your fur baby will help you too
