I mean..it happed few times before..but as if i felt it happened more often?..here's the problem.i sometimes laugh at things that are not worth laughing about in a wrong timing or that sounds offending..it happened recently when my dad was sick with common cold..i was helping him reduce the high tempreture but somehow wheneven i hear him cough or talk it makes me laugh i try not to but it's hard..it also happened when i went to visit my grandmother in the emergency..because of too much vaccination..she started to have hysteria and talks some nonsence and she keeps forgetting where she is and she imagines someone calling us and i don't know why i laugh about that..i try to stop it by pinching myself so hard..i feel like there's something weird in me..it also happens when my dad gives me advices sometimes..i don't know..i did not give it a deal before..but i feel bad now because its happening at wrong times and i feel guilty..sometimes i think i have no empathy towards anyone or feeling for them because of that....i hope it goes..

Hi I think sometimes we don't know how to react so it comes out as laughing at inappropriate times and we all do it sometimes. Also it can be tension which comes out in the form of black humour. We used this a lot when our parents were failing.

I remember a few years ago my mother was taken to hospital after a fall and my sister and I ended up exhausted and tense. One of the nurses said while we were waiting 'Oh I love your mum'. My sister looked at me and said 'Do you think if we paid them enough they would keep her'. That was it we were hysterical with laughter and the staff must have thought we were awful people! But it released the tension wonderfully and we felt human again.

I also think others understand too so if you do say something inappropriate just tell them you didn't mean it like that and that you are stressed. x

Hypercat54 is exactly right, nerves, or tension can do it every time. It can be extremely embarrassing, but if you just say sorry, I'm a little nervous most people will understand. It seems to go away as you age although I still have my moments. Pam

Like both above suggest, what you describe is quite normal it is part of you releasing tension in your voice when we see or hear something that has some questionable expectations or you are stressed to know what is expected of you, or the sufferer etc

When I have been looking after relatives in the past I saw things that questioned my emotions and that made me think in irrational ways and thoughts when certain things were suggested and seen.

You seem normal sometimes things can happen where respect and understanding can leave us, when stressed. Be surprised in the future you will look back on these times and possibly you will smile and laugh at what happened in the past. Bitter, sweet memories
