This conversation took place in a pub, there was beer, and only me. son, husband, d-in- law, and grandson. There was lots of laughing especially after my faux pas . No one was upset. Next morning no one was speaking to me. I was a bit taken aback

My laptop is having problems up here and I seem to go for periods of no service. I answered above on an earlier reply today.
Personally I will say you are like me !!! Sometimes we need to stop digging, you have said sorry move on and forget about it. The more you discuss and say sorry, the more your Grandson gets sorry, the worse the situation will become.
You/Me our worst enemy, Personally I am becoming more reserved with age, I keep my own Council and that seems to keep everyone happy.
Like this morning we were supposed to go out on the ferries. The weather here turns on the edge of a penny and it can be a problem deciding what to do for the day. Hazel argues with herself regards the days activities, I keep quiet. Seems to work.

Hi Pam quite often people laugh to cover embarrassing moments then when they think about it afterwards become angry. This is when they have sobered up.
Last week i was playing bingo down my local club and forgot to turn the pages over a couple of times. The callers were laughing and so was everyone else including me and I didn't give it a second thought. I went again last night and was told off and to keep up in future! They were making jokes about banning me and a couple of my friends - well they were half jokes but there was a bit of serious behind them. I was a big gob smacked to say the least. x
Sweetiepye, you crack me up. You have got the best personality. Sorry, no one is speaking to you. No speaking speaks volumes.
