My husband has been Putin Sertraline 50mg since last Monday so on just over a week. He was put on them after having 2 bouts of shingles and losing all his emotions.
Including those for me. During this time he also had a brief affair.
I'm feeling just as bad as him as I'm not sure when or if he will get any emotions back. I'm in limbo.
Has anyone else been or is in this situation at all?
Thanking you in advance!

well...if he has no feelings for you and has had an affair...then I would say you need to get your ducks in a row and divorce him, as he has moved on from the marriage.
Welcome to our supportive community. Well done for taking a brave step out of your comfort zone to reach out for help. Hopefully, you will find folks here are only too willing to come alongside you and share from their personal journeys and experiences.
You are obviously having a difficult time right now, I'm really not sure how to advise as this is a delicate situation you are sharing. Have you spoken to your doctor about what is happening in your relationship, and about any adverse medication effects? Can you sit down and have a serious chat with your husband about how he's feeling? You may need some relationship counselling.

I have never heard of AD medications causing a brief affair. It has never happened in my case. However others on site might have other ideas. Fauxartist has the same idea as me it sounds like an excuse. You need to get him to stop using excuses. Sounds like someone is trying to kid you on. On most occasions these drugs may have side effects that go the other way. Cannot be bothered
