why would you want to turn off your feelings....I can understand not wanting to feel the bad ones...but I wouldn't want to miss out on the good ones.

When I was a child, I had to turn off my feelings because I was told to. That stayed with me until I retired, I became a very difficult person to live with. Eventually I started a new life and now I can and my life is that much more full and rewarding as I can consider my own needs, and also my own decisions. When we are adults being in control of our own lives makes us more complete and able to move on through life, warts and all.

We all need to take control of our lives, life becomes more interesting when decisions are our own
