Omg. The phone rang at 7.15 and I was too nervous to answer it! What on earth do I do now? I was expecting a text not a phone call. Please help!! Think it may have been the guy I fancy!!!

I rang for quite a while but there was no answer!! What do I do now? Will I text the number and say sorry I missed the call, I was walking the dog!I'm kicking myself now. Do you think he'd call again??

Well, I decided I would send a text saying was he out with one of his many admirers tonight or not! I told him my address and said if it wasn't too short notice, there is a coffee shop where I live, unless he knows of anywhere. Was that OK?

What you did was fine. The ball is in his court so to speak. Dating is awkward and guys are nervous too. Be yourself and be funny. Humour will relax you and it is attractive to guys.

Don't worry. If the date goes bad, it can make for a good story. If he never responds it is his loss.

I feel really silly! The phone number wasn't even that guys! It turned out to be my ex Hubby's new tel. no.!! So its now 4 days and nothing! The golden rule apparently is never reply before 3 days and after 5. As its Sunday tomorrow I will see if the guy gets in touch.

It is interesting to see the initial stages of dating from a woman's viewpoint. For most guys (especially me), i can sit and practice what I am going to say and pickup the phone ten times before calling. If she doesn't answer do we leave a message? It is nerve racking.

It is also interesting to hear that it is a guy you "fancy". I love how British people talk. 😊
