At my last computer class I gave the lad I fancied my phone number and suggested about meeting up at a comedy club in town. That was Tuesday night. Haven't heard anything yet. I know guys don't like to look too keen but I read somewhere that you should only give a lad 72 hours to reply! How long should you wait?!

I’m not sure on the how long you should wait bit...he may have things going on and not message for a week, or more ,I guess it’s how comfortable you feel if he messages after some time. It’s difficult as we don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life. Perhaps he will mention it next time you are both at computer class...

He has your number so hope he decides to message soon.

Yes I'd wait about 72 hours and then just send a text asking how's things, how's his day going. If he doesn't reply you just need to leave it but if you replies to that then gradually work up to maybe going out somewhere together. It could be the thing you suggested wasn't for him, so maybe mention a coffee or something. You could even put that in your first text after 72 hours. eg "Not heard from you. How's things? Do you fancy a coffee and a natter one of the days?" or something like that. But who am I to say? I am a relationshipless 59 year old lady!!!! XXX Fingers crossed for you. x
