Hi Lynseyhot, We are so sorry you are having such a terrible time at the moment. Is there someone you trust that you can talk to? Please try your Mental Health professional again and stress how you are feeling. Also do you know about the Crisis support helpline within the UK, also the Samaritans Tel:116 123 - someone who you can talk to and will not judge you. We are so pleased that you reached out to this community and please don't punish yourself anymore about the lapse, everyone is here for you, you have reached out to us now try your GP, mental health team again.

Follow MAS Nurse recommendation. If you do need a Crisis Team phone NHS INFORMATION LINE ON TEL 111 in the UK they can assist in calling the Crisis Team or arranging other services

Keep writing on here. I'm on a merrygoround with the mental health services. The problem is that unless you're wanting to go into hospital( It can help some but I don't think it would help me) here is only so much they can do.
The crisis team can let you down to be sure but keep on going on at them if they are all you have or write on here or bother friends or Samaritans or anyone. Just bother people on here if we're all you've got. You need to bother someone to make sure you are safe as we need to keep ourselves safe. Just keep thinking, "i'll keep safe tonight". "How am I going to keep safe tomorrow?" That's what I do all the time.
I have to go out to stuff. I told three different people today I was the S word. They don't like it I know but one was a nurse, one was a chemist and the other was a manager. I can't help it. If I don't tell them I will do it. I would rather you tell us than you do it. You can keep telling us how awful you feel. It's ok. Many of us feel that way. We just try inch by inch to keep a bit safer as we're not sure of the other alternative. I know I would hurt anyone who has tried to help and believe me it can fail, and often does and people end up in a worse state. Its a slippery slope. Try not to start on it, but that's rich coming from me feeling like this though I haven't started on it, just in a constant living hell in my own mind.
I understand the fear completely of how safe you'll be over the weekend. Do whatever you need to do. If for you that means going into hospital then do it. If it means asking of a friend then do it. Do whatever it takes to keep safe and keep trying. I feel for you. I really do . It's so hard. I do it every day for years now.
