Do dating sites still work

I have been single 2 years now and before I never had any trouble meeting someone. In life and on dating sites I even meant my ex there. So i thought I'd try It again now it's like chat and nothing more. My friend even suggested I should try a site that you subscribe too as I should get someone more serious. But it's all the same. I am feeling worried that I won't meet anyone again.

A friend of mine uses Tinder and says that is very good and free. She met her current partner on there. x

I know many that have used Tinder with great success😊

I'm a fish out of water when it comes to dating sites but I know a few of my friends have said that it can often take a while for things to progress to the 'date' stage as many have had bad experiences due to people using these types of sites for one night hookups. They mentioned 'plenty of fish' as one of those sites.
