I'm no doctor, but I think you may have developed depression. Anxiety only means persistent worrying and an inability to relax. Depression and anxiety go hand in hand so I would check it out. Good luck!

The mood is only affecting me besides that i havent lost any interest in activities or so on. I get sad everytime I experience anxiety and everytime i miss my old self before i had anxiety

People with depression don't always have every single one of it's symptoms.

It might mean depression, it might mean a whole host of other things. Only a doctor can diagnose depression, but if you're worried or struggling I would recommend you look at the Mind website. I've found it useful lots of times.

Hi there, I have suffered from depression on and off for around 20 years .. I wasn’t aware that I had depression as such because at the time my external life sad .. I had just lost my sister and her partner to suicide 2 days after giving birth to my first child .. so I felt the feelings I was feeling per se were normal.. sad, tearful, hurt, angry and lonely ... this improved with time .. however life through in a few more hurdles and well my reaction was to feel depressed .. as the years went on without diagnosis I did notice that each time I went that dark hole other symptom would present themselves.. restlessness, feeling very uncomfortable when I went out ..even if it was just to the super market .. over analysing things and ultimately a panic attack that forced me to finally seek help .. other than PTSD I was diagnosed with chronic depression .. the physiatrists would say the depression was circumstantial but it is was it is ... I remember one Doctor asking me .. do you feel anxious? I said “no” as I felt myself as an individual was always calm even though sad inside .. the physiatrists pointed out all the the other symptoms I was experiencing.. and boldly told me I had very high anxiety symptoms including depression... soo I feel maybe your Anxiety May be causing you to feel depressed which I feel will lead to depression.... please surround yourself with support ... family friends even just one person who you can speak to and share your experiences, this is really crucial. Of course also get reviewed by your medical team .. or your Gp.

Also I found that keeping a journal helped .. if I didn’t feel up to writing I would draw how I felt ♥️

They feed of each other anxiety and depression so it's better to try and get a grip on them as quick as you can..your Doctor should be your first stop..good luck.

Hello my lovely, I am no qualified doctor but I suffer from both anxiety and depression... to start of with I thought the fact I got upset over the littlest things and then getting a bit upset when thinking about me before it all happened I originally put it to just anxiety and me worrying, but I went to the doctors and described my symptoms/feelings and they told me it was the start of depression, so honestly don't leave it long... if you ever want to talk drop me a message!

Dear Anon, I think you have developed depression. I had the same symptoms in the past before Developing depression. It got worse after the initial stage. Those were the worst days of my life. Days I'm trying to forget. But now I'm doing good, Thanks to cognitive behavior therapy. I tried CBT after usual antidepressants at a CBT therapy clinic in Toronto ( cognitivebehaviourtherapyto... ). And that made all the difference. When I look back now the only regret I have is that I should have gone for CBT in the first place. So I will suggest trying CBT first. You can easily get rid of it without using any medications. Don't hesitate, just go for it.
