Well, when I was in a relationship where the other person defined me, I was ill, had been brought up by my parents as a people pleaser, a sweet little girl who was subservient to her husband. No doubt you are much younger than me... and thankfully things have changed.

Are you unaware that women particularly are "defined" by the relationship they are in? It happens worldwide. How old are you? !!! Even Meghan Markle understands it because she said that statement. Maybe that's the reason she is divorced, once her long term partner became her husband he tried to mould her his way. That happened with my second husband, the minute we were married he took absolute control of my life. I walked out after 9 months
