Can anybody help me with my pip appeal, my appeal to the court was over a year ago I didn't hear anything for months and then had a phone call from welfare rights to say that they had lost it. I was ill at the time and just didnt have the support to do anything about it. last week I had a huge A4 envelope through the post it has just reappeared. I have read through it and it's confusing, they are saying one thing then saying another in the forms. I have hypermobility syndrome that causes me a lot of pain and bi-polar which is not good at the moment. I used to get high mobility DLA and medium Care but they changed it to medium PIP care and No mobility at first I appealed this and they gave me the medium mobility. That meant o lost my car so that made me really feel like a trapped animal in the house I can't go out. I have bought two cars since and they have both been useless as nd I have ended up loosing money and scrapping one the other is stood on my drive as I can't afford to fix it. it's a nightmare at the moment because I don't know where to start. I have no lead professional because i can't get to appointments and was so ill i wasn't opening my letters just gave up. no w I have all this to deal with and don't know where to start. my hypermobility syndrome was diagnosed years ago and physio aggravates it so there is nothing I can do just tale my painkillers dyhidrcodine and nerproxin ( the pip are saying this is mild Medicatin) if i don't have them I am in agony. I can't cope with it all and need some advice, the thing that would help me more than anything is the car. it wou is male a huge difference to my life. I am on a deadline don't know how long because one says 28 days from the 17/10 and the other one that was in the same envelope says 29 days from 9 Nov.... Help please

Hi Susan. There's a great site @ advicenow.org.uk.

But you must go to CAB & talk things through with an Advocate. If you feel up to it opt for a personal hearing. About 64% of personal tribunals are successful. Take no notice of DWP crap. Their role is to discourage you from appealing.

Hi Susan,

The sheer amount of paperwork etc is confusing and often overwhelming at the best of times.

Since you are dealing with a government department, you could try contacting you local member of parliament for help

I have put a link here for the contact information

Sadly I cant help you with your PIP appeal due to where I work and of course not knowing you, however I can give advise which is to go to your local CAB (most likely situated at your local council offices) or call them if unable to visit. They can assist with an appeal, I suggest doing it asap as you only have a limited time to appeal.
