I know i haven't been right for years. Since 8 I have always been low & depressed but in the last couple months it's worse. I feel like everyone is against me. And talking about me or trying to bring me down. I get months when I'm doing good my mind isn't as bad I can cope but then i hit a serious low and that happened this week. I used to self harm and attempted to commit suicide years ago but the urge has not been as strong as recently. I think it's more then depression and I'm scared because what if I get help and they take my daughter away. Should I keep it to myself and just try cope is it normal to be this scared

Hello Ceecee92 and welcome to this community and sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. It is good to share and talk about how you are feeling and please don't feel you have to keep it to yourself and it is normal to feel scared. This is a safe and supportive community and we do not judge. I am sure other members will share their similar experiences with you. Take a look at the pinned posts on the right of the screen where you will find useful links that may help. I wonder if you have ever spoken to the Samaritans - 116 123 (freephone) who will listen and help you talk through things. Maybe you could also think about seeing your GP to discuss how you are feeling now. Please be reassured that your GP is not going to consider taking your daughter away and will want to help you. Please keep in touch. We are here to support you.
