Over heating problems

For the last few years I've had this problem where I will be freezing cold but when I start doing activities I will burn up and start overheating to the point I have to lose layers. It can be walking places or doing things like binding documents at work to even cooking or tidying my room. I burn up and feel like I'm sweating violently. I'm not the fittest person but I'm not overweight or have any physical disabilities, I'm 5"10, 13 Stone and only 18 years old. I didn't really think to much off it until a few days ago I felt like I was sweating and was overheating after walking to my boyfriend's I stripped down into my undergarments but my boyfriend hugged me and said I was as cold as an ice cube. Should this be something I should be worried about and maybe seek medical advice for or am I being over paranoid? I suffer from a number of mental health difficulties and am unsure if it's somehow tied to them

Are you on any medication? I know that tricyclic meds can mess with your body temperature. There are other ones too.
