Hi Faceinajar I like your name! I'm a Mum of two also (21 and 18). Glad to hear you're on an up at the moment....long may in continue.

I'm currently undergoing tests for health stuff. Been suffering with fatigue and chronic pain for a good while now. I have had depression and anxiety on and off most for many years. Not feeling too bad in that sense at the moment.

Did it take you a long time to get a diagnosis of ME?

Thanks so Much for your reply, have tears in my eyes cos you did 😊. I've struggled for many years with depression & anxiety.I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia when I was 37 (I'm now 53) so I believe, back then I was wrongly diagnosed. My doctors wouldn't listen to my concerns & had every test re- excessive tiredness.I even suggested M/E a no. of times but she didn't acknowledge the possibility Grrr !!.3 years ago I got my diagnosis which (again) made me cry.Someone finally believed me. Let me know how your tests go (if not too private ) .Hope your family/friends are supportive 😊 & Happy your mood is good.Keep doing stuff to make you happy.I love to sing & have decided to go to a singing workshop on Nov.5th . 👍 Sending Hugs 🌼

Hi, that was a long time to receive a correct diagnosis....I'm glad you got there in the end. I will let you know how I get on. I have supportive family and friends, so that's good. Hope you have support too. That's great re the singing - I can't hold a note but do sing along to my music sometimes and it makes me happy :) I like to dance, write, bake and read. Do you have any other hobbies? I have just started voluntary work on a psychiatric ward....I've just got home and am feeling really drained, but it was worth it. Take care xx

Ooh that sounds so interesting !! I've always been intrigued by Psychology & what makes us all tick & do what we do !! Mostly I think to try & understand what's going on in my own "grey matter". I also love to cook & was a Chef for many years. I also love to sing & am going to try a new choir next wk. All these things little or big make me feel good so my New saying is "Just keep swimming just keep swimming !! " LOL 😆😆
