I've always suffered from anxiety and depression, and a few years ago was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I've been on and off different medication however I've always felt different, different inside. My mood will go from one extreme to another I stop eating stop sleeping and then POW I'm hyper I'm energetic and it just goes round and round in circles. I've lived with my partner for 2years now and she has mentioned bipolar disorder. I don't know what to do, everytime I see the dr the just request more antidepressants. And now recently I can't remember things my its as if my brain is just shutting down. Any advice would be muchly appreciated x

I am inclined to agree with your partner about bi polar disorder. You mention that you don't sleep and are hyper. This is a main symptom of bi polar. I strongly suggest that instead of requesting continuous anti depressants you ask to be referred to a pyschiastrist who will properly diagnose you. This is important to do this ASAP. I feel sure this is the only way for you to get better 😊😊
Hi, I would suggest that you request your Dr. refer you. Tell them exactly how you are feeling and ask for other help and support other than the medication. Before you go to the Dr. write out a list of how you feel and when, so that you can give your Dr. the full picture of how you are feeling. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe your wife or someone you trust can go with you to offer you their support and be there to prompt you if you get stuck and can't speak to your Dr.
I also agree with lin62-65ze that you should go and see your Dr. ASAP because the sooner you get this sorted the quicker you can start to feel better.
Take care.
