Hi, just wondering if it's normal for young people (17+) to suffer with the systems of bipolar?

Hi Courts 1234 You don't say what makes you think you may have bipolar; have you tried a chat with your GP? You do not have to start heavy medication. I wonder what is going on in your life right now. Hopefully the community can give you support and share their experience. Bye for now.

I'm guessing anyone can have bipolar, but without meaning to sound patronising you should seek advice on ruling out other reasons for how you're feeling at the moment. My son is 17 (18 in 4 weeks) and he presents with lots of different moods. He has been a late developer and didn't really reach puberty until he was around 16. Hope you're ok x
