Omg I can't believe it.

I've after months of talking to many ppl actually got to the correct person and I've a careers meeting on Monday at uni.

They are also going to get funding for me to re train and also get funding for learning disability.

St last it looks as though I'll be going to uni in September to learn counciling woo hoo

Fantastic news. Shows that by keep trying and asking for help and support you can get results. Good on you and good luck. What you going to study?

I'm doing a two year foundation course in counciling,I'll also have to re sit some gcse as my o levels were awful then I guess I'll have to take a levels to do a four years master degree.

I'll find out more on Monday.

Looks as though it's all gonna be funded by the uni which is just great.

I've already gone on to my iPad and opened up utunes and found a course for free which is learning to learn again in higher education.

After that I would like like to learn about child through to adult hood, behavioural, self belief and confidence and also learn more about ASD as I've got pretty awful ADHD which I'm glad to say after being diagnosed 7 years ago and with the determination and pushing the NHS mental health team to the absolute limit I have got on the correct meds after being my own Guinepig and the correct type of therapy and learning that my personality and character are way of the chat and learning best how to harness it and make best use to my abilities.

It took me two whole years of pushing to get behaviour therapy every Monday for a whole hour.wow so lucky. I wrote a letter every Sunday and went in to the centre once a week to show my face. In the end it was two secretaries that pushed for me. I was always polite said thank have a good day and was always smiling.yes push I bloody well did. After 6 months the therapist retired and he said there now ur sorted. My god how delusional. 40 yrs of emotions in 6 months. I think not but I will say one thing.christ he got me digging deep in my self and saying stuff I didn't even know I had.

Now that's stimulation and really exercising the brain.

I did learn a hell of a lot about my self and the average bod.

Somet I'm forever greatful that's for sure.

I find it most disheartening that a person thats has severe mental health issues does not have the capacity to help them selves by pushing for what they really deserve. Equality and being given the correct therapy and meds. After all we are all equal so are we not aloud to have the right to live to the best we can.

Oops sorry folks. This is by no means an angry message it's just pointing out to ppl about what they deserve and have the right to

Well done and good luck.

You are on your way, Enjoy !!!!!

BOB
