Anyone here switch from Geodon to Latuda, and lost their appetite? I switched totally in February. Since going on the Latuda my mood is down and have lost my appetite. I'm on 80 mgs. Of Latuda but noticed I have no desire to eat. I feel low in everything I try to do, like everything is a chore! Wonder how others deal with these feelings?

I don't know any of these medications; it may be side effects from the new medication; in which case, i would strongly suggest you go back to your GP/Psychiatrist to discuss; either way, i think you should go. Its very difficult to cope when you have such low mood and don't feel like doing things, as at that period of time, its like there is nothing that can be done about it. Try to eat, even if you dont want to, otherwise you may feel even worse. However, due to what you have said, please go back and discuss all of this . Sorry i can't be of more help. XX
Hi Krazy-girl
I am not familiar with this medication so I googled it, I just want to basically agree with susieanna, you need to speak to someone about this, also I would have though you should have had more support from the Mental Health team due to the nature of this type of medication. It makes me angry that people who are ill and have to "fight" to get the help they should be getting anyway. When I am unwell I loose my "voice" so I know how difficult it can be just to lift the telephone, sorry for the rant.
Take care
