Why?
Sorry Devon. Welcome to the community. I have no experience with your medication which is why I didn't reply.

Hi Devon30, it can take a while to get replies on here sometimes, it's nothing personal I'm sure. I had a look at your earlier post but I can't shed any light on this I'm afraid. I've only ever heard of lamotrigine being used to treat epilepsy before, rather than mental health issues. Hopefully someone will be along over the next day or two who has some experience of this medication. Sorry to hear that it's making you feel so rough though. Don't hesitate to go back to the doctor who prescribed it though, if you think it's making you worse rather than better.
Devon sorry I can't help with your Query, I usually only reply if I feel I can help someone. Also it would be better to ask your Pharmacist.
People here don't always get replys as there might be no one online, so sometimes patience is needed.

Hi Devon, I didn't see a question myself.
None of us like to feel ignored and unheard. I don't see the post you referred to. If you write back, I'll check it out and get back to you. Like many of us, we've had mental health issues for ages and it's very difficult. It's tough for sure. Nessie 237
Hi Devon hope you're ok xxxxxxx
Sorry Devon, I have no knowledge of your medication and latter explanation of your condition. I would have replied if I had knowledge of condition and medication. We can have a selective understanding of medications that deal with Anxiety, Depression and Panic attacks.

I take lamotagine for bipolar type 2 and it's honestly made a huge difference in my state of mind. Although I struggle a lot with normality and miss the highs lol. I've been taking it about 5 months and I feel in comparison to the long list of previous medication I've finally found the one that works for me. Hope that helps. I take 150mg daily the main side effects are feeling sick and headaches. And it can take up to 6 months for you to really feel the benefits. Xx
