Uh I hate having low days it's like my mind will bring things from the past and use them to hurt me I seriously overthink things when feeling like this and it's like a eternity of feeling like this guess it's my fault though

No,its definitely not your fault, no one can totally control the direction one's mind takes.

What you can do though ,as too much introspection is almost always a waste of time and usually harmful, is to find some distractions that you find so fascinating that yor mind is taken off the introspection and as a bonus you usually get something useful done.

I find reading, DVDs I like, walking, music on youtube, gardening, dating Nicole Kidman all work for me. I made that last one up but the rest are true. I've heard she fantasises about me but I have n't tried to date her.

The trick is to find books ,DVDs,Music etc you can lose yourself in.

Hello Leo

Are you still pushing your nails into your skin at this time ?

Just sit back in your chair, feel your body in the chair and put your arms on the arms of the chair. Push your buttocks into the chair, uncross your legs and place your feet flat on the floor. feel your thighs resting on the seat.rest your shoulders and close your eyes you should start to relax. Sometimes I will move my head round and round for a couple of times this will relax neck and shoulders. That should go some ways to calm you down.

Allow about 15/20 mins

Hello Leo

If you are drawing blood or you feel you may feel this problem needs attention you need to see your GP. It may be, if it was me, I would have that chat with your Surgery.

The reason you do this sort of thing is generally instigated by Anxiety, it is releasing stress by pain, it is a diversion tactic.

Consider another type of diversion that does not possibly lead to damage to your person. One person I knew in the past ate a chocolate bar as they contain a positive mood changing substance. Of course whatever you decide it is always your decision.

We are always around for you if you need support, we have many friendly members

Yes I know what you mean, the overthInking. I just pray the next day is better. And try to rest or sleep more. Try not to be hard on yourself.
