Hey everyone! I just thought I'd let you all know that I've found a place to stay for the next two days. I'm crashing with friends at my college and for all of you who don't know, I'm trying to get away from my narcissistic-like Dad. After that, I'll have to go somewhere else.

Hello there. I read that last post with fascinated interest! I think it's actually one of the BEST posts I've seen since I've been on HU. It elicited great discourse to be sure. Therefore, I would sincerely like to thank YOU and all those who took part. I do have something further to add to a gentleman woh posted however it's late in my corner of the globe and I'm a bit zonked out. Another time perhaps.
In any case ... YAY 🙌... yes indeed, great news in terms of your new living arrangements and when the time comes for you to go "somewhere else"? Don't sweat it too much ... you'll find what you need - assuming that it doesn't find you first ☺
Oh yeah, in terms of being judged, unfortunately its human nature however the folks here are generally very warm, supportive and caring. They're also mature and experienced enough to know better than to judge someone.

Good that you have friends to support you. My ex was narcisstic. But what will you do after 2 days crashing?
I have other friends who might let me stay with them. I also checked out a homeless shelter and they might have a bed open by then.

Hate to think you might have to live in a homeless shelter. You are so young.
It's okay 
it's suitable. Its better to live there than to be a nomad hopping from couch to couch.
