Hi. Can anyone tell me if you can take st johns wort with diazapam?

As I understand it you should NOT take St John's Wort with any antidepressant so I would seek advice from your medical practitioner. x

gives a run down of known side-effects of St John's Wort and drug interactions.

recommended you discuss with GP before combining with diazepam as it can affect the effectiveness of diazepam. If you have the leaflet for the diazepam then it probably mentions interaction with St John's Wort. If you can't get to GP then, as Coughalot says - pharmacist can advise
