I have been working like a trojan and getting nowhere, so I need a break and I need to share with you my brethren.

Do you think it has something to do with Angela Landsbury, no just hang in there with me, have you noticed that whenever there is a murder she's there? Doesn't that strike anyone as a bit fishy.

In Scooby Doo its easy as it's always the Hotel Manager and the same Hotel Manager at that!

SO you have the platform people....HOW has your day been? Just the good stuff please the bad stuff depresses me, just kidding, awe come on, it's late Im exhausted I can hardly add coherent to that.

Ha Ha Ive just seen the tagline below for subjects says Exhaustion, Depression and Murder. I shall know I have hit gold when it says Kippers, Ice Cream and The Valley of the Kings!

Hi Caroline.

Now put your kettle on and get a nice biscuit or two. Put your feet up, you

Deserve it. Or alternatively pour yourself a glass of wine . My day was ok , nothing very special , went out after lunch and

Had a coffee and Scone. Did some food shopping and treated myself to a

Nice bunch of daffs.. The trouble is LUNA keeps trying to knock them over,

So I will have to put them somewhere obscure, which defeats the whole

Caroline I always love how you prefer the positive stuff, Ah well, remember

Hello

Crabs in a row nipping on your big toe, Murder She wrote, it is all to do with nippers, Nippers up north are young children in some areas known as kids, is that something to do with goats. Cannot see those sitting in a row on a fence they would break it. ,Brakes are to do with cars and I had them done in two rows last week to get the car through its MOT.

Excuse the brainstorm

All back to normal today Caroline

Needed some distraction regarding the problems we had at our old address. So now our weekend will be taken up with discussing the way forward with our solicitor. We had company Thursday that proved to be a further diversion although I had a late appointment with my dentist in my old town. Pleased to say was seen early and was back before dark.

Going down there is a fifty mile drive x2, so when I got back I was very tired.

Yesterday I was up in the Scottish Borders, we will be back up there for several days next week to recharge our batteries. All the electricity was down over the winter so we checked and the RCD was tripped. and had not been checked so I suppose the leaks could have been worse as the frost protection was down as well.

So I suppose we have had a busy time We were both tired as the drive we had was a further hundred miles on single track roads, I must be getting old or something

Took Pax for his walk this Morning and we hope to arrange a walk for Him on the beach this pm as it is a lovely day and the sun is shining over the Cheviot Hills so I am sitting here watching the clouds kissing their tops. So I suppose we are very lucky to be where we are.

Hazel never stops She is wanting a new roof on the conservatory to increase the light and keep the heat in, my head is spinning with what she wants to be done

Yesterday we popped into a LIDL and I got two Peach Trees to be planted in large pots. They will go well with the figs The figs will be in the conservatory and one of the peaches will go into the Greenhouse with the other fig. So our plans for the new season gardening are now worked out with the new borders going in at the beginning of the month.

I just feel so tired with all the things Hazel has planned here, so I recommend never to marry a gardener and give them a nice piece of land !!!! Will be looking for assistance, so Pax will be digging holes to plant plants. Mind He never gets the holes in the right place.

Sorry for the prattle just this time of the year just seems to go on and on, all I would like is just to enjoy what we have done already, that is not possible I suppose

Thanks Bob what a lovely reply its like an episode of All Creatures Great And Small, lol. apparently James Herriot suffered from depression.

Annnyway, the stuff you two go through no wonder you are tired Im tired just reading about it...lol.

I don't know if today was glorious I went to draw in a museum, reeeeallly enjoyed myself. didnt draw on the exibits but wanted too. Some of the frescos are in dire need of colouring in! :-)

Still can't get over jus how far away your dentist is but hope the tooth is sorted now and you aren't in any pain.

Gardening?! May as well be rocket science. Plants are those things that live outdoors happily without any help from me as far as Im concerned. So hats off to you for actually growing trees!

Hello Caroline

She was shopping again this pm Hazel bought a further 35 perennial plants for the new borders at Aldi, After that She went and got two bales of compost for the fruit trees. If you had any more weight we would have been sitting on the road as the car was so heavy, it is like going shopping with a brainstorm

CarolineLondon profile image
CarolineLondon in reply tojue1

Wow big stuff Jue1 I can't quite get on with Dylan but I respect the fact he wrote some amazing songs and Handel's Messiah another biggy!

I forget now but was it Handel who uniformed music you know arranged it so music could actually be written down, annotated? I listened to something on radio 4 about 100 years ago on the history of music and how folk music was passed down through word of mouth and that there was a time when there were a number of different scales being used throughout the country, which don't exist now, of course do you think I can remember the detail...no. That's mostly because when I listen to the radio Im doing something else at the same time, so only listening with half an ear if you like.

Pleased you had a good afternoon if you can have one good afternoon you have the potential to have 100 how fantastic :-) Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a lovely day.
