It's really hard when everything is stacked against you, isn't it? I don't think this awful weather helps anyone either, and I'm sure it contributes to the number of germs around. I seem to have had one bug after another this winter.

If it's any help, I think the worst of the weather is pretty much over and we can look forward to some brighter days. I find a bit of sunshine makes the world of difference to how I'm feeling.

The work thing I understand. It's one of those things we have to do, but having to leave the comfort of your home everyday to a job you don't enjoy, is horrible. Do you have options to look for something else? Could you change anything about your existing job to make it more pleasant?

I understand this so much.

Positivity is hard to find when you feel this way. Be kind to yourself these periods do pass eventually. I have had pits n troughs of them for the past few weeks. The great thing is people here understand it's one positive thing I hold dear, to have someone understand is quite something as it can feel lonely. Not sure if you have any help, on good days I research any help there might be available ....it's difficult to find but there is help. Your dr is a good start, you may have already been. Some CBT can help and I once telephoned MIND who gave me a list of helpful contacts in my area. Apologies if you have already done these things...but thought I would mention.

Hi there,

I know how you feel, life can be right hard when you're skint, feel like shit, can't do anything to make you feel better coz it seems like everything costs money and it seems like nothing's ever gonna get better..

But it almost always does! Even just a little bit..

In the meantime try and do little things that might make you feel just that wee bit better, even if it's just a walk round the block, or in the park if there's one near you, or go and see a friend you can talk to and tell them how

you feel..

Or come on here, like you did, there's always someone here for you, and we all know what it feels like to

feel so down..

Hope tomorrow's a better day for you,

Love and a big hug from Holly :) Xx
