Hi there, Has anybody been to the new incapacity medical, I received the call up papers Monday !!!! It is stressing me out big time, apart from depression I have epilepsy which is stress related, so things not good. Anybody got ant tips PLEASE

I am sorry I am retired but have got two friends waiting having filled in the papers and sent them with doctors letters and councillor s notes so wondered did you send these as well. Wish you all the luck in the world Take Care and come on and let us know how you got on.

Thank you for the reply. I am still waiting for the papers to fill in,and trying not to get into a total panic about it, as I have heard if you cannot move, lost both legs and arms, well maybe not quite, they say you are fit for work. If they cannot see it, nothing is there. Sorry I have a funny sense of humor and thank god for spell check. So pleased to find this site, it has answered many questions I have had for the last 6 years since this lot started.

try not to work yourself up i have had to fill the questionaire out for the last few years but between that and my gp report they havent even sent for me but please let me know how you get on

Thank you for replying, I had the phone call today just to check details and tell me next step, sending form etc. I was in such a state with just the phone call I feel a right idiot. Crying shaking sweating you know the story. The poor bloke on the line kept saying sorry oops

dont worry about it they are used to it i take my hat off to you as i dont do phone calls especially with strangers x

My lovely GP who has helped me so much has left the practice so now its a doctor who is good but not very sympathetic,

i had to see a different dr told them i didnt think my tablets were working he told me to go to A+E as he had lots of patients if your gp is not sympathetic try a different gp try them all in the surgery if thats what it takes xx
