Hairloss at a young age
Have you consulted a healthcare professional?
Breathe, its NOT the end of the world that it now seems. My vast experience suggests 3 options:
1. Shave your head. Its so common nowadays in young men and may suit you.
2. See a qualified Nutritional Therapist that specialises in the area for lack of key nutrients .
3. Avoid reported drugs like finasteride which may cause serious health side effects. That probably means avoid expensive hair clinics which go down that route.
Good luck and feel free to contact me privately if you wish.
It runs in alot of my family.years ago when I was still buying bodybuilding and health mags, books, anything I could get my hands on I found this and take it to this day.i,m 51 and had similar problems like you in my 20,s.There,s a natural supplement called Saw Palmetto extract.the one I take is 320mg standardized to 85-95% fatty acids.it helps stop testosterone turning into dehydrotestostorone which causes prostate problems and hair loss in males prone to this.Doctors will either tell you or not even mention it because the billiondollar pharmaceutical industry doesn't make any money unless finastride or minoxidil is prescribed.Nizirol shampoo can also help this.
Sadly, I can empathise with the emotions you are experiencing even if in my case I pulled most of my hair out by the roots when I was ten. It subsequently made the challenges of the teenage years even greater. I used to ask the barber to make the most of what little was left, but windy days were a nightmare.
When I turned thirty I was fed up of the cover up charade which wasn't really working. I asked the barber to cut off most of my hair. He told me it was the scariest hair cut he had ever done, as up to that point he did his best to hide my baldness.
I can only speak for myself, but I walked out of the barbers happier, and more confident having reclaimed my identity. I am now sixty two and there has never been a day I regretted "coming out" as bald and proud. I made the choice on my own, but the ideal would have been to talk it through with somebody I trusted. People were shocked at the new look, but they got over it. I felt sexier, but that might have been in my head. I have also saved a small fortune in barbers fees as I shave my own head these days.
I doubt I would have had the courage to have had most of my hair cut off at nineteen, but I just felt the need to empathise and offer you some food for thought.
