Rather than undergo my 2nd biopsy (directed) I pushed for a 4K test. This was never brought up by my Urologist. The 4K test indicated a PSA of 15 - up from 13 in March and 11 in December. There was an "H" next to it, I assume indicating a high probability of cancer in the next 10 yrs.
I'm curious about what 2nd directed biopsy will show. The first one the doctor did get to anomalous tissue that he had analyzed (last year) and said it was pre-cancerous cells. I assume the directed biopsy (with a MRI guidance) will take those cells and determine what they've become. Correct me if I'm wrong...
I see my original urologist tomorrow. I assume he will push for the 2nd biopsy but what new information will be acquired from that?
I have just started on this road and its pretty dark outside. Any guidance is appreciated.
