Persistent bleeding

i have the real funny dermatillomania thing, anyways due to that i always cut the skin on the sides of my finger nails with scissors, usually causes bleeding (though not much), today i accidentally caused a small wound on the right side of my left middle fingers fingernail, but it hasnt stopped bleeding in 5-6 hours when it normally stops in minutes, whats wrong? and as with the above thingy, im wondering if constantly cutting of the skin played any role in it? it just suddenly stopped clotting when it normally clots in minutes. and yea ive put a bandaid on it, but when i took of the last one i used (out of 2) it still hasnt stopped.
