I have been diagnosed with hiatus hernia last year. My main symptom is on the right hand side, constant rib pain and side pain.
I've had abdomen scan nothing showing and chest x ray.
Does anyone suffer similar symptoms on right side?
Cheers

Hiya progblue,my pain is pretty similar.I hurt my back coming out of the bath about 15 yrs ago.I went to the gp,she thought it was nothing.Since then I've had 2 xrays at the hospital, both come back negative.Im in constant pain in my lower back/hip area, sometimes both hips. This has caused me a lot of weakness in my legs.Ive had so many fallsbecause of it.For the last 2 years, ive exercised almost daily to keep my back moving and to strengthen my legs but my balance is still poor and my back still hurts daily.Just because your scan came back negative and you probably feel like the docs think your pain is in your head, you've gotta keep pursuing things.Ive got an appointment with a pain clinic and some physio, try to keep that area moving.Another specialist thought mine was probably musculoskeletal so would not show up on a scan.Maybe it's the same with you too.I hope you get a much better understanding of your condition,it's the least you deserve.Maybe keep looking for a different gp,possibly a walk in centre,A&E,but good look in your search.
