How long before

I have been taking tamsulosine 0.4 for 4 days but my BP has been down to 90/55. My Dr suggested Tamsulosine 0.2 isn't giving enough relief but it's just two days.

Does it take long for drug's proper effect to set in? Should I stay on 0.2 or switch drugs

Are you taking it for an enlarged prostate? I noticed a difference in urinary symptoms within a couple of days. Been on it 2 years now. Still dizzy if I stand up too quickly.

I was on this and after 5 days my hamstrings were affected and I had difficulty walking. Stopped and took months to recover. Precautionary tale from me. Watch out for muscle aches.
