Frenelum Swollen After Circumcision (Day 2)

Hey guys,

How long after your Circumcisions did it take before the frenelum went to looking normal?

Also, my doctor advised me to take off my bandages and shower after 48hrs, but I'm still noticing some spotting with blood. Is this normal? I definitely don't want to get an infection and the frenelum area is feeling a bit more irritated than the rest of stitching.

Luckily I've been on antibiotics for two days and have two more days worth.

It’s normal man, if you go through everyone pics everyone has them. In my case personally I don’t, but they’re common to swell and be swollen for couple weeks I read. Don’t worry about it too much brother

Appreciate the reassurance man! Ill be sure to keep that in mind. This thing had me freaking out when I took of the initial bandages lol idk what I was expecting but it sure wasn't this!

Any suggestions on night time erection management? I just woke up to one and immediately stood up and took some deep breaths to make mine go away, but I all ears if people use any tracks aside from sleeping on their side

Yeah man no problem 🤙🏻 I wish I could help you, but my erections don’t cause me any pain, I can sleep through them although they wake me up every now and then but not because of the pain. A lot of of people say to not drink water after 6, couple hours before you go to bed, that way your bladder is empty and apparently that helps with not getting elections. Also try sleeping on your side, with a pillow between your legs.

Thats the part that takes longer to heal.. but id say expect to see a difference at around 2 weeks... im on my 3rd week.. all the other pats has healed.. but I only have one stitch below the frenulum part.. nd its healing well but still a bit swollen

Looks very normal.

It will look a mess for 7/10 days before things start to get back to normal.

You will be back to your normal self in 10/14 days and you may resume sex after 28 days very carefully.

It will be normal to see swelling and the odd spots of blood.

I found that soaking the penis in Boiled salt water (Boil and let cool down naturally and only use sea salt) for a minute 3/4 times a day and allow to naturally dry.

Plus drinking several cups of green tea helps to strengthen your immune system and does help with healing.

If you cover the penis and ice 3/4 times a day it will help reduce the swelling.
