Hello! I know I have made multiple posts about this however it is starting to drive me up a wall and I need advice. I have had this ticking in my head for about 18 months. It sounds like someone clicking their fingers together. However it only happens when I do certain things. These things are like, whenever I talk and say the letter k and t. Whenever I breath in and out, generally when my soft palate hits the top, occasionally when I jump or run and sometimes when I move my neck to the left. Sometimes the ticking is so bad and happens when I do all of these things and sometimes it low key and only one of these things cause it. It makes it worse when I think about it and when I'm stressed. I have seen an audiologist but they said my hearing is fine. Thanks! I was just wondering how to proceed and if any of you guys have possibly heard of what I'm going through. I know it can't be anything sinister because I have had it for 18 months without any other big signs of neurological disease. Thanks!

Do you have excess earwax or a blockage in your ear, are you using headphones all the time listening to music loudly, have you considered getting an MRI scan of your brain to look for any issues.

Thank you for replying. My Dr said it would be a gross waste of money if I went for an MRI (cost about $500 where I live) every doctor i have seen has told me this. I have seen about 10 different doctors. Lol but thank you so much for your feedback.
